She went on to attend Cal Northern School of Law in Chico, California where she earned a Masters degree in Legal Studies and a Juris Doctorate degree. Ms. Vance worked as a social worker for 16 years prior to attending law school. Ms. Vance’s experience as a social worker gives her a deep understanding of families, human behavior and provides a well-rounded and empathetic advocate who will fight for your rights. She combines her experiences to provide her clients with a compassionate and articulate experience, making sure that legal cases are handled, and people are cared for.
A mother of three children and legal guardian to her nieces and nephews, Ms. Vance values family and hard work. She is a skilled multitasker and is not afraid to take on a difficult legal issue. While not working, Ms. Vance enjoys crafting, gardening, and playing with her springer spaniel.

In 2014, Ms. Erisman graduated from Sacramento State University with honors and received a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. While attending Sacramento State, Ms. Erisman worked as a legal secretary and interned with California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. She also worked as a legal secretary for the Nevada County District Attorney’s office
from 2014-2016.
Ms. Erisman worked as a paralegal while she attended law school at Cal Northern School of Law. In 2020, Ms. Erisman received her Master degree in Legal Studies and her Juris Doctorate, graduating as Valedictorian of her class. Prior to working as an associate with Desiree Vance and Associates, Ms. Erisman worked with Ms. Vance as a paralegal and post-bar law clerk. When she is not at work, she loves to spend time with her family, travel and she loves a good cup of coffee.
